**The Botanic Gardens unfold in a graceful sweep of winding stone paths, manicured lawns, and flowerbeds spilling over with colour, all gathered around the crown jewel at the park’s heart: a magnificent glass conservatory.
Sunlight glances off its countless panes, its great central dome rising above the treetops like a crown of copper and crystal. Within, the air hangs warm and heavy with the perfume of exotic blooms, ferns brushing against fogged glass.
Outside, visitors drift between trimmed hedges and rose beds, pausing at the ornate fountain where water murmurs softly, while stone figures keep silent watch over the plaza. A place of tranquility in the city sprawl, but one never knows what might take root after dark.**
We’re delighted to bring you our latest release, the ‘Botanic Gardens’, and this one is completely free for everyone! Nestled within a city park, this map centres on a grand Victorian-style glasshouse surrounded by sprawling lawns, meandering pathways, and a paved plaza perfect for public gatherings. It’s an ideal setting for social encounters, festivals, and clandestine meetings, or as the stage for something more sinister – a rampaging plant creature breaking loose from the conservatory, or fey mischief creeping in among the flowerbeds. Whether your party visits for a peaceful stroll or a midnight confrontation, the gardens are ready to serve.
This release includes both Day and Night variants of the map, letting you set the scene at any hour, along with tiles for all of the lights so you can illuminate (or darken) the grounds exactly as your story demands. Gridded and gridless versions are included as always, ready to drop into your VTT of choice or print for the table.
And of course, the map comes fully prepared in our Foundry module, complete with walls, lighting, ambient sounds, and active tiles—including toggleable lights. Just drop it into your game with minimal setup and let your players wander the gardens.
