“You step into the magic item shop and the noise of the city falls away behind you, swallowed by the hush of a vast, vaulted hall. The air is rich with the scent of old parchment, lamp oil, polished steel, leather, cedar shelves, and the faint sharp bite of alchemical herbs.
Glass cases gleam in the warm golden light, cradling rings, potions, and strange curios, while rows of weapons catch the glow—swords, bows, and exotic arms whispering with the promise of old battles and stranger lands.
Armor stands silent like watchful knights, fine robes and travel-worn satchels hang in neat displays. Yet all of it is drawn into the shadow of the shop’s true treasure: at the center of the hall, beneath a pristine glass case upon a raised pedestal, rests a single Book.
Nearby stands the shopkeeper, a vaguely unsettling figure whose face you cannot quite make out beneath the deep hood that veils it; with a voice as smooth as velvet and just as hard to trust, he inclines his head and asks, “What does your soul desire?””
Magic Item Shop is 26×39 map — An excellent place not only for a shopping spree, but also for an exciting battle scene. And do not even think about robbing this place — if anything goes wrong inside the shop, the exits will be sealed at once, and no magic will allow you to leave these walls without the Owner’s permission.
This map, as usual, comes with a number of tiles to adjust the encounter to your needs, and has been set up in our Foundry module to make it easy for you to swap between the variants!
